This Sunday, Feb.8, 6:00pm at West Coast Bagels in Tigard, I’ll be sharing some thoughts that Bruce Ecker had been developing about the nature and meaning of the “Kingdom of God” that Jesus spoke about so often…then we’ll discuss as a group or in small clusters if there’s enough people there.
You should have heard by now that or dear friend Bruce passed away last weekend from a massive heart attack. He will be missed terribly by family, friends, and by us in the Catalyst world. You may be wondering whether or not this new “Bagel Thing” monthly meeting will continue, since he was the primary facilitator & teacher….Well, if I know Bruce, he would be absolutely ticked-off if we canceled on his account! There were few endeavors dearer to his heart than gathering in small groups to read the Bible, discuss it honestly, pray, and break bread together. I hope you will join us, and please feel encouraged to invite a friend.
