Moments of Peace

These words really inspired me today…written by my new friend John Garrick:

“Peace is a state of mind and spirit that occurs when I align myself with a loving, creative and ever present God who delights in interacting with His kids. And at that moment, His unconditional love and redemptive work through Christ overshadows my penchant to fix on the temporal, uncontrollable circumstances that bend my trust and hope toward my own limited capacities and capabilities. Although I cannot fully understand it, I embrace it.”
